Banana Bars

Oat and Banana Bars made with Truvia For Baking Brown Sweetener

These bars are great for a simple on-the-go-breakfast or a quick snack!

Serving size





  • 2 cups Rolled oats

  • 125ml Desiccated coconut

  • 125ml Sesame seeds

  • 125ml Walnuts, chopped

  • 125ml Dates, chopped

  • 12 tsp Salt (optional)

  • 125ml Truvia For Baking Brown Sweetener

  • 2 – 3 Overripe medium bananas, mashed (about 34 cup)

  • 125ml Butter, melted


  • 1.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  • 2.

    Grease a 20 cm square baking pan.

  • 3.

    In a large bowl, stir together oats, coconut, sesame seeds, walnuts, dates, and salt.

  • 4.

    In a medium bowl, mix together mashed bananas, Truvia For Baking Brown Sweetener and melted butter until combined.

  • 5.

    Add the banana mixture to the oats and stir until evenly incorporated.

  • 6.

    Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.

  • 7.

    Bake until the bars are golden brown, about 25 minutes.

  • 8.

    Let cool, then cut into bars.
