Buttermilk Rusks made with Truvia For Baking Caster Sweetener

These rusks, sweetened with Truvia For Baking Caster Sweetener, are an absolute classic. Whether dunked in a delicious cup of Red Cappuccino or eaten solo, they are too good to leave any crumbs behind.

  • 1.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  • 2.

    Sieve the flour, Truvia For Baking Caster Sweetener and salt into a mixing bowl. Add the butter and rub together with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.

    Beat the eggs and maas/buttermilk together.

  • 4.

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, a little at a time.

  • 5.

    Work into a dough and then divide between 2 greased loaf tins.

  • 6.

    Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through, before removing from tins and allowing to cool.

  • 7.

    Cut or break into desired rectangular shapes and arrange on a baking tray. Dry the rusks in the oven at 70°C for 2 -3 hours or until dry and crispy.
